Hello! I am also an Amway Business Owner from Kolkata, India. I would like to expand my business globally. How do i go about it so that people who are interested can contact me. I do follow yr newsletters regularly.
That is a very good question Jalaja . Expanding your business globally is a smart idea. If one area of the world is experiencing an economic slowdown the other areas may not. It is just good business. Amway Corporation is enjoying the fruits of global coverage now with 15% growth a year in China.
While expanding globally is smart, there are also some challenges to doing so for the independent representative of any company. Fortunately this is the best time in history to take such a challenge because the internet is the great equalizer. No longer is it required to visit each country to recruit as it once was. That being said, it is still not easy, but those that get downlines around the world will be better off than those that do not wish to make the effort.
The Amway Corporation is now expanding in China and is investing $15 million to do it. The money will be used for the development of household products such as air and water purifiers, and kitchen appliances among others.
In 1992 Amway entered China with hopes of sales to the Chinese market. They were smart to do so. Their sales in China now reach $2.01 billion dollars a year and are increasing 15% a year. The global crisis is not a concern for their Chinese business.
Less than a year after Samuel Zell took over the Tribune Company and its 13 Billion in debt, the company is seeking bankruptcy protection. The Tribune publishes The Los Angeles Times and The Chicago Tribune. Newsapapers are having a trough time because of shrinking advertising revenues.
Advertising is shifting to the internet which is good for companies like Google, but bad for traditional magazines and newspapers. To compound the problem. Zell nearly tripled the debt of the comany when he took it over.
